The site includes the latest mystery fiction news, including a database of new releases in a section titled “The Bookstained Bookshelf.” Although they used to offer an online version of The Deadly Directory (a book with contact information and descriptions for hundreds of booksellers, organizations, publications, events, websites, and more), that part of the web site is no longer updated.

They also have recent award winner lists, and “read alikes” -- if you liked a certain author or type of book, they have recommendations for others in that same vein.
